Modernizing and streamlining processes for growth

AMS (Architectural & Metal Systems Ltd.) is Ireland’s only independently owned manufacturer of extruded aluminium profiles and the sole façade systems producer conducting all processes in-house. Since its establishment in 1990 in Cork, AMS has built a reputation for high-performance aluminium windows, doors, and façade systems supplied to architectural and construction projects across the country.

The Challenge: Keeping Up with Growth & Efficiency Needs
AMS is a company specialized in aluminium extrusion, sheet metal fabrication, and powder-coated aluminium. As demand grew, the company needed a solution to balance production workload efficiently.

The Solution: Ranger CNC 6321 V-Groove
Having already tested and trusted Muratori Machines, AMS decided to invest in a second Ranger CNC 6321 V-Groove. They decided to purchase the second Ranger CNC 6321 V-Groove. This decision allowed AMS to balance workload between two machines, to increase production capacity without compromising quality and to enhance efficiency in machining aluminium sheets. So, the second Ranger CNC was installed in 2024, immediately improving workflow and reducing bottlenecks in fabrication.

Custom Modifications & After-Sales Support
To further enhance efficiency, Muratori Machines and PCS ProCompositeSolutions worked closely with AMS to implement a separate vacuum section for machining smaller parts. We worked with them to see where and how the changes could be done to accommodate both the manufacturer and us as the end customer. AMS has also been highly satisfied with the after-sales support.

Future Plans: Investing in Growth
With two Ranger CNCs now running, AMS has successfully scaled its aluminium processing capabilities and they confirmed when asked about future investments in Muratori Machines’ technology.
