Verope srl, located in Campodarsego, Padua, Italy, is a dynamic company operating throughout Italy and Europe. They specialize in contract processing and transformation of composite materials, such as aluminum composite, high pressure laminates (HPL) and fiber cement, primarily serving the building envelope sector. Their business focuses on providing high-quality materials and solutions for facades and other architectural projects.

The core of our collaboration was focused around optimizing their production process. At the time of their founding, Verope faced a significant challenge: the need to find a high-performance CNC that would allow them to maximize the use of their limited space while maintaining high precision and speed in their operations. Additionally, as a startup, they had to overcome the difficulties of managing a small workforce and operating in a restricted workshop.

To solve these challenges, we provided Verope with two Ranger CNC, that were customized to meet their specific needs. This solution allowed them to efficiently handle a wide variety of materials in a compact space, offering both speed and precision. The system’s software enabled seamless processing of different materials, including complex shapes, which significantly improved the company’s workflow and production capabilities.

The vertical setup of the Ranger not only saved valuable floor space, but also improved ease of use for operators, with better access to the machine’s head and tool changers. The machine’s ergonomic design made loading and unloading simpler, and the dust collection system facilitated a cleaner work environment. These modifications were critical in making the machine suitable for their high-demand, high-precision work.

Since implementing the solution, Verope has seen remarkable results. In just two years, they have doubled the number of processed materials, and their customer base has grown significantly. This success has led them to consider purchasing a second machining center to keep pace with the increase in work orders. Currently, they process several thousands of square meters of materials annually, and the ability to switch between different materials during the same production day has greatly enhanced their operational flexibility.

In addition to the expected benefits, Verope gained several additional advantages. The system’s advanced software allowed them to optimize the use of materials, reducing waste and providing their clients with more cost-effective solutions. The software’s ability to handle complex shapes and perform nesting, directly from customer drawings, further reduced the need for additional technical input from the client’s side. This not only saved time, but also improved the accuracy and speed of their project delivery, enabling them to meet tight construction timelines.

This experience has taught us valuable lessons. One key takeaway is the importance of tailoring solutions to fit the specific needs of our clients. By working closely with Verope, we were able to deliver a machine that not only met their space constraints but also provided them with the flexibility to manage a wide range of materials efficiently.
